Liechtenstein is a small, landlocked country located in Central Europe, bordered by Switzerland to the west and south, and Austria to the east. It has an area of about 160 square miles and a population of approximately 38,000 people. The country is a constitutional monarchy, with the reigning Prince of Liechtenstein as the head of state. The government is a parliamentary democracy, with the parliament consisting of the 25-member Landtag, or National Council, and the government headed by the Prime Minister.

Liechtenstein has a highly developed and prosperous economy, with a strong focus on financial services, manufacturing, and tourism. The country has a low tax rate and a stable political environment, which has attracted many foreign businesses and investors. Liechtenstein is a member of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and the European Economic Area (EEA), which allows it to participate in the single market of the European Union (EU). However, it is not a member of the EU itself.
